It’s amazing how things work out sometimes. For those who do not know me, I am a life-long learner (read old) who has been working on a master’s degree, one class at a time, while working as full-time staff at a university. This past semester I took a class in digital media, and we were required to start a blog. Desperate for a blog topic, I turned to my favorite obsession: the Sims. I have long enjoyed the blogs written by players of Pinstar’s Legacy Challenge, as well as other writers who use Sims to tell their stories, so I thought, why not?

I never realized how much the blogging experience would enhance my enjoyment of the game, and never in my wildest dreams did I think anyone would actually follow my blog! The class is over, but the story goes on! My thanks to all of you who have read and enjoyed Pete’s Legacy, and to those talented Sims writers who have inspired and encouraged me!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,300 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 38 trips to carry that many people.

There were 402 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 279 MB. That’s about a picture per day.

The busiest day of the year was November 16th with 145 views. The most popular post that day was Welcome to Pete’s Legacy!.

I’m really looking forward to 2015 and the opening of the new Sims Writers website, where I am honored to have earned the status of Syndicated Writer. Again, thanks to all of you, and many wishes for a wonderful 2015!
